Testing Ground 2024

I took a year off from dance, but I couldn't let my senior year pass without being in my final Testing Ground show. So, I choreographed a solo to Fleetwood Mac's "Go Your Own Way." I wanted to experiment by doing very intense and 'thrashy' jazz while in heels.
Testing Ground 2023

This was the first time I choreographed for Testing Ground. I titled my piece "a night to remember" and set it to "Laughter Lines" by Bastille. I wanted to create a dance commemorating how my friends were there for me on one of the lowest nights of my life. Thankfully, I danced it with some of my other lovely friends!
Testing Ground 2022

I danced in three pieces my freshman year for Testing Ground, which is a dance concert meant to show student dances-in-progress! I was in a contemporary piece (pictured), a Latin ballroom dance, and a modern solo; the solo was meant to be a trio, but my fellow members contracted COVID.

Sound Motion Dance Academy
I was a member of my dance studio's competition team for five years. I devoted a majority of my time to it, and I truly loved it. My team loved to bring large and elaborate production numbers to competition. One year was a Disney production that covered over a dozen movies. The next was SpongeBob! It was so theatrical. As a team, we often performed at Cleveland Monsters or Cavaliers games. I personally competed three solos in my time at the studio.
